Crelly Co.

Clean books don't mean a healthy organization.

Fractional finance leadership for nonprofits: Director of Finance and CFO-level support, without a full-time salary.I help you see what your numbers are really telling you, so you can make confident decisions about budgets, cash and growth.

Is this you?

If you lead a nonprofit, you might recognize this:-You're not sure whether you can afford the program or hire you're considering.
-Your biggest event or fundraiser makes money on paper, but you can't say how much.
-Cash looks fine one month and tight the next — and no one can tell you why.
-Board meetings mean scrambling for answers you don't fully understand yourself.
You shouldn't have to choose between your mission and understanding your money. You can have both. And the hours you're pouring into the books yourself aren't free — they're just paid in time and energy instead of money. Time on reconciliations is time you're not spending on the mission.

Why Crelly Co.

For more than a decade I was the Director of Finance for a membership association and its charitable foundation, leading a team of four across budgeting, cash flow, projections, GAAP-compliant statements, and board reporting for two organizations — and managing the audit, Form 990 preparation with the external CPA firm, insurance, banking, and investment relationships. Across 24 years in accounting, I've learned how nonprofits actually run, on both the earned and contributed sides. Now I bring that same executive-level experience to smaller nonprofits that need it without a full-time hire, with a patient, jargon-free way of explaining it. My clients don't just get cleaner books — they get an honest read on whether the organization behind those books is healthy, and a plan to keep it that way.
